For throat related problems, including hoarseness, throat pain and a lump in the throat feeling, your first visit will likely include the use of the endoscope (a small tube to examine the back of the nose and throat).

Most patients afterwards say it was not as bad as they thought! It does make you eyes water a bit…

For ear related problems the microscope will be needed to examine the outer ear canal and ear drum area fully.
